Meet the photographers ...
Norman J. McCullough
Born in July of 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. An uncle from the West Coast introduced
Norman to photography at the age of 13. This "opened up a whole new
medium of expression.”
Norman was drafted into the military in
1970 and he spent 2 years as a combat photographer with the John F.
Kennedy Center for Military Assistance and Special Warfare.
Upon discharge
from active duty went to work at what was then called Essex Community
College. Norman is the Producer of Instructional Media for CCBC Essex,
Library / Media Services Department. He is a Master Scuba Diver and has a fantastic 4-legged son named Bucaneer.
Lauren Dawson Strebel
Born July 1973 in Baltimore, MD, Norman and Darlene’s niece & goddaughter, Lauren joined the GREYSTONE team in 2005. With
over 10 years of amateur photography experience, she has apprenticed
under Norman's watchful eye and his 40+ years of knowledge!
She is a full
time Web Developer working for VisionTechnologies, a Grad Student at University of Baltimore, a Maryland Wineries Association Wine Ambassador, a labor doula and much more. She has a wonderful son and has had many
years of wedding experiences!
She comes prepared for anything
from lost flower girls to crying mother's of the bride. She has
a plethora of "Smile Creating Techniques" which are
always under development and can "floof a dress" with
the best of them - see right!
"Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary." - Cecil Beaton
