Frequently Asked Questions

What is your photography style?

There are so many different styles of photography, and if you’re not sure what they all mean, it can feel overwhelming to know what’s right for you. I’m a lifestyle photographer, which means my focus is on capturing real moments and genuine connection — not stiff poses. I want your images to tell a story.

My editing style leans a little moody, but stays true to color — rich, natural, and timeless. I don’t want to alter the way your day felt — just enhance it, so the emotion and beauty shine through.

What rights do I have to the digital photos?

You are welcome to download any and all images from your online gallery for personal use. Along with your completed gallery, you’ll receive a print release that allows you to print, reproduce, and share your images freely at any print lab of your choice.

I kindly ask that you don’t apply filters or additional edits to the photos — each image reflects my style and the care I put into editing. RAW files will not be provided, as they’re not a finished representation of my work.

How can I book with you?

For weddings or elopements — start by filling out the inquiry form here on my website! I’ll send over an email with a bit more info and let you know if I’m available for your date. If everything feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule a time to grab coffee or hop on a phone call to chat details.

From there, if you're ready to move forward, I’ll send over a contract and invoice for the retainer. Once both are taken care of — your date is officially locked in, and we’re all set to start planning your day!

Can I see a full gallery?

Of course — I’d love for you to! I pride myself on the consistency of my work and want you to feel confident in what you can expect.

I’m happy to send you a few full gallery links to browse, or you can check out the “Galleries” tab right here on my website to view a variety of sessions and weddings.

When will I receive my gallery?

Weddings and elopements: within 4–6 weeks

Lifestyle sessions: within 2 weeks

For both sessions and weddings, you’ll receive a sneak peek within 48 hours — because I know how exciting it is to relive those moments right away!

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No, I don’t deliver every single image — and here’s why! After your session or wedding, I carefully go through all the photos and remove duplicates, test shots, missed focus, awkward expressions, and anything that doesn’t meet my quality standards.

What you receive is a curated gallery filled with the best, most meaningful moments — the ones that truly tell your story.

Do you provide printing services?

Yes, absolutely! I offer professional-quality prints through a trusted lab — the results are beautifully sharp, color-accurate, and far superior to big-box options like Walgreens or Walmart.

Prints are ordered at cost, with a $20 service fee to cover my time placing and managing the order. If you're interested in prints or want more info, feel free to reach out — I’d love to help you bring your photos to life!

What precautions do you take to make sure my images are safe?

Image safety is a top priority for me. I shoot with dual-slot cameras, which means every photo is instantly written to two memory cards for backup as I shoot.

After your session or wedding, your images are immediately backed up to two external hard drives. Until your final gallery is delivered, all memory cards and drives are stored in a fireproof safe for extra security.

Once your gallery has been delivered and available for 90 days, the memory cards are safely formatted, and your images are cleared from active backup storage.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, I do! I carry full liability insurance, which many venues require from photographers. If your venue needs proof of coverage, I’m happy to provide a certificate upon request.

Do you charge an additional fee for travel?

I don’t charge any additional travel fees for sessions or weddings booked in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Colorado — those are my most frequently traveled-to states!

While I’m no longer on the road full-time, I still have my van and travel often. I’ll be making multiple trips to Michigan and Colorado this year — feel free to inquire about my upcoming travel dates if you’d like to align your session with one of those trips!

I’m currently based in Oshkosh, WI, and my studio is located in Kaukauna, WI.
